LOCKNET can provide administration of a LAN/WAN based network.  Network administration is vital to the continued efficiency of computer workstations, network servers, and desktop computers of organizations. Among the designated tasks of LAN administrators are the installation of new file servers and workstations, LAN troubleshooting, periodic backups for servers and workstations, upgrade of existing software, administration of file and network security, and management of electronic mail.

  • Install and configure new servers and user workstations;
  • Provide basic LAN management and troubleshooting, using a network protocol analyzer and remote network management software
  • Administer User accounts (add, change, configure), e-mail address lists and printer names
  • Implement network and file security, accounting and management
  • LOCKNET network engineers will work with your IT staff to analyze and interpret the monthly reports generated by nsentry
  • Most remediation required can be performed on the network remotely by LOCKNET network engineers. Monthly subscriptions to nsentry include up to 24 hours per year of consulting and support
  • Access to the LOCKNET Help Desk to report and resolve network problems. The Help Desk includes a toll free phone number dedicated to client support and access to LOCKNET technical staff. Clients can also submit trouble tickets via web browser. Service history reports can be accessed by your staff as needed.
